Sexuality Workgroup During adolescence, young people face many developmental challenges. One of the most significant challenges for adolescents, their families, and communities concerns the development of healthy sexual identities and behaviors. Cooperative Extension recognizes the need to expand and institutionalize high quality educational programs on adolescent sexuality development to meet the changing needs of youth, families, and communities.
